We would rather tell you exactly how Helmia works.

• Made to order: we make each piece by hand after you order it, so we do not overproduce or hold unsold stock.
• Made by hand in Helsinki: every piece is assembled and finished in our Helsinki studio.
• Made to last: 925 sterling silver with a plated finish, a 1-year warranty against manufacturing faults, and pieces designed to be worn for years rather than a season.
• Natural pearls, as they are: we design around irregular baroque and keshi pearls instead of sorting out everything that is not perfectly round.
• Pearls: our pearls are sourced ourselves from pearl farms and markets in South-East China. We travel there yearly to restock our pearls, finding new interesting forms and discussing directly with pearl suppliers. Each pearl string is carefully picked by us. 
• Packaging: each piece of jewelry is delivered in its own velvet-lined jewelry box, where the pearls stay protected and will last for years to come.
